Newbie Racer on a ZXR!

Hi Guys, Just joined the forum, I have been racing in YPM with Bemsee for the last 2 years on my trusty TZR 250 and as a track hack and winter project me and my team mate bought this last week:

I have no pics of my own as yet but will try and get some, it seems ok so far, needs a fairing and seat unit and a good clean and tidy up!

The bloke I bought it off said it was an ex bike magazine ZXR where they took a road going ZXR400 and turned it into a racer, he thought it was Fast Bikes, or Performance Bikes magazine??

He says the tuner is Lawrence Sandham?? I have never heard of him and google didnt throw anything up?

If you know anything of the bike or tuner let me know!

Yes I know the feeling no money but best fun in the world! 2 x Years of TZR racing and the bug has bitten, I am sure the 400's will be a good laugh!

If anyone knows anything knows the bike or the tuner let me know!

Never heard of him.............but I seem to remember a ZXR being built/tuned for one of those mags

Mind you I hear lots of stories about race bikes and their orgins..................not all of it true.

Ever noticed how many Pere Riba ZX 6's there are out there.......................................dozens of em.

Best engine tuner/builder for ZXRS is RMKD an occassional visitor to this forum.................IMHO.
