A big newb!

Post by penry »

Ok, I'am new to here, I'm 19 years old and hoping to get my bike towards the end of January. After I have sold my beloved 1978 Citroen 2CV (looks the same as the James Bond one) :)
What's the best ZXR 400 to get? Some people have told me go for an L9 as they have better engines?
Also what would you recommend me doing/changing on the bike?

the L9 is also younger...

recommend you get as good a service history as possible, factor in basic things like new tyres, chain, sprockets, cooland, fuel/air filters, oil, brake fluid and pads to get the bike in reasonable condition, give it a ride and see where your abilities are better than that of the bike.
UK ZXR400 L3 (1993) - Fully restored and on the roads, my green beast!
JPN ZXR250 A2 (1990) - Revs to 19,200rpm... 'nuff said :smt003
