Bike rider, No ZXR - Yet!

Hey all,

My names Kelv, 18 from the south east (Ashford to be precise)

Passed full test in july, Got a GS500 .. and whilst it is a nice bike, makes a beautiful sound... IT doesn't make a 4 cylinder sound

Also had quite a few troubles with engine. (replacing big end bearings this week)

I'm looking at (in some peoples mind downgrading, i say updgrading) to the ZXR400. Anything i should keep an eye out for when buying one apart from usuals and headers.

Qualified IT Technician and looking at doing mechanics course because that little piece of paper that says i can do it is all that matters (Pfft)

I'll also add, No car licence.. I started my wheeled adventure driving a 1.6 vitara 4x4 and a Hyundai accent 1.3 and whilst im a perfectly okay driver (private roads) i jumped on my first bike after learning to drive a car (Yamaha DT125) and everything clicked.. clutch on the hand with gears on foot... so much easier.

Then had a road Aprilia RS50 2T (NEVER AGAIN 2T ever)
Then jumped briefly to a Chinese 125 and did full test and got my current GS500
