My girlfriends L4...

Post by cartman »

Well, as I promised RobB in another topic, I just wanted to share some pics of the bike that he helped me with in this forum.

The bike belongs to my girlfriend and she's crazy about it. A '94 model with 19.500 km on the odo. That's about 12.000 miles. Well, just look at the pics below....

Thanks for helping me out on this bike as it is new to me! Great website you have here!

Thanks RobB. :smt001 Yeah, this one's a real beauty. Quite good condition. Only remaining thing to do is a valve clearance check/adjustment later this season... :smt002 Think I can hear one of those little valves being a little noisy... :smt003

Nice looking bike Cartman. Mine is a little more track-focused for now (picture attached), but I am considering converting it back into a road bike for my wife once I have finished with it.

As next Wednesday afternoon will be my first time out on the track with this bike, I wouldn't really know about the costs. Fortunately for me, when I bought the bike last week the guy gave me 5 pairs of slightly used race tyres, a few different sized sets of sprockets, extra braided hoses, paddock stand, and a few other bits and pieces.

I am not planning on doing any real racing, just want to ride at high speed in a nice controlled environment, without Baboons :smt002
