Hello

Post by s1bz3r0 »

Hello!
I'm Jay and from the lovely berkshire,
Just thought i'd say hi to everyone and say a little about myself. :smt003
I have a ZXR 400 L9, well i say have i mean had.
Some bugger had a picnic in my garage recently,
Got the bike back in the end but it was a write off. :smt011
Anyways..
I have not passed my licence yet, I'm doing a 33bhp restricted already tried but sadly
on the day of my test i lost someone close so i couldn't finish. :smt009
Saving up the dosh to do it again before summer kicks in, All donations will be appreciated lol.
I'm on here to find out more about the ZXR 400, What its like on a 33bhp restriction,
And if someones got one for sale when i've done me test,
And of course to chat to like minded folk such as yourself..
Cheers!
I

Welcome to the forum :smt006

Sorry to hear about the picnic in your garage! Hope you get the test done soon.

As for the difference on 33bhp restrictors, it's not that bad and is a good way to learn how to handle the bike. I had mine in for nearly 2 years and still had loads of fun on the ZXR400.

Thanks for the welcome, And the luck for my test. :smt003
And i deffo will keep an eye open on here!!!
Yeah my dad was insured on it, It was his little runner from new.
It had not to many miles and just about a month before,
he did a complete rebuild and tart up before it was nicked.
Yeah we got a call from the cossa's to say they found it,
The condition left i believe was half burnt and left in a field to rot. :smt012
So i think the insurance did take it for scrap and left me dad with a little wedge.
Thanks again masterofinsanity. :smt020

Hey Jay.

Always good to see folks cropping up fairly local.

Could your Da have been the rider of the ZX I saw coming up t'hill out of Hungerford two Saturdays running a couple of weeks ago?

Pisser about the theft..

Welcome in!

Nah i doubt it he can't ride anymore due to health problems.
Sorry for the late reply though mate, BT were lovely enough to cut the internet off for a while,
even though the bills have been paid. :smt016

I got that for a while when we upgraded to Broadband, and BT insisted their line was fine...

We were supposed to be getting 2 meg BBand, but the BT line could only support half meg.

Don't think we got the charges for those two months odd back either.

youll never get 2M download speed with a 2M connection, not unless you live next door to the exchange.
