Hi Folks its Claire

I thought I'd join as I have a ZXR400L track bike that I hope to be racing at the end of this season

Anyway, at the mo, I'm putting the cams back in, as the nobber that built (or re-built) the engine managed to (somehow!) fracture the cam cap and oil feed! He thought it would be a good idea to lock wire the parts together :wanker This from a Marshall at Donnington Park, imagine the catastrophe waiting to happen

So I have had the parts welded by a brilliant ali welder and it's going back together tonight. I can then shim her up. However to only other problem I have is finding a pattern gasket set from somewhere???
I've tried Wemoto and Z Power, but no-one seems to do them, anyone got any clues as to where I might purchase a set????????

welcome claire, don't forget to check out the racers section!
gasket sets as far as i am aware are only available from main kwak dealers.Any pics of the bike?

As Baz said, gaskets are probably only available from a dealer, they are also in the region of 20 quid so wouldnt bother trying to find a cheap pattern part if i was you and go for genuine
