lucky crash! and some manx 400 footage

There seems to be more and more members appearing that are racing the ZXR400 so i've created a special section just for you to show off results, discuss meets etc etc.

that was a nice little off there, i bet he didnt even know about it till he saw sky :smt003

Was amusing watching the guys over that hump bridge, you could tell most of them weren't comfortable at all being airborne. backing off before you jump just makes it harder on yourself.

The trouble with having an open mind, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

The approach to that hump bridge is a section that is flat out for about 3 miles............ you'd be backing off as well

yep, backing off quite a lot. But not just before the brow of the hump though, you want to go over that with an open throttle or you'll come down nose first and thats not a nice feeling for anyone, a bit more confidence before will make you a lot more comfortable on landing rather than backing off because you arnt comfortable with the landing because the take off was wrong.

I love being airborne, my route to work has 6/7 opportunities to be two wheels off with one of those going into a bend and another on the way out, it's so much more entertaining than getting my knee down :smt007

aye, maybee in everyday riding might be cool, but its a long way round the tt course, you might be the fastest over ballaugh bridge, but if your bike breaks and you dont finish....its no good. fast in the fast, slow round the slow they all say, and thats probs from experience, not mine , yet smiler

but it is cool to watch when people fly over it, i cant wait for the manx

thats a good point, i know i've already been through one rear shock already.

But i wasn't really getting at the speed or jumping distance through there, more that there were quite a few riders who could have ridden that section a lot more smoothly if they hadnt rolled off just as they went over the point. Anyway, my original point was you can see quite a few of them just are not comfortable with that jump, it's more comfortable if you stop the bike plummeting nose first while the rear hops up and trys to put you on the tank, thats not so good for the suspension either.
