Bemsee Formula 400 for 2008

400 Class Meeting at Brands 29th September 2007
Key outcomes for 2008 Season amendments:

• Rename the class “Formula 400”
• The class to include all current 400 types…
 SuperSport 400
 Clubman & Rookie 400
• Effectively remove the “Clubman” level and run a single 400 class with a Rookie cup within it subject to there being sufficient entries at that level.
• No limit on bhp for 4-stroke machines, maintain the 78 bhp limit for 2-strokes.
• Run on treaded tyres, no sliks.
• Fuel Injection systems not allowed.

These were regarded by the meeting as the key amendments intended to open access to the class from riders who currently view the BMCRC 400 series as not for them.

class regs nearer the start of the 08 season.

Brands GP Circuit 10-11 May
Silverstone 24-25 May
Croix en Ternois 14-15 June
Cadwell Park 28-29 June
Snetterton 5-6 July
Brands Hatch 19-20 July
Cadwell Park 2-3 August
Oulton Park 15-16 August (Friday/Saturday)
Snetterton 13-14 September
Brands Hatch 27-28 September

All meetings will have Friday practice day except: Donington, Oulton
Brands GP practice will be on the Indi circuit

Classes will run 10 rounds from these circuits, class matrix to be announced.
