carb set up!!

There seems to be more and more members appearing that are racing the ZXR400 so i've created a special section just for you to show off results, discuss meets etc etc.

carb set up!!

hi just looking for some advice. i've got an l2 i'm using as a track bike. i've just dynojetted it (stage 1) its fitted with a high flow k+n. its got a carbon d+d race can (under seat conversion) but will not rev cleanly. any ideas before i take it and have it dyno'd (trying to save a little money!!!!! cheers.

when you say it will not rev cleanly, do you mean the revs stick or will no rev passed a certain range.


Oh, and get some pics up of this underseat exhaust!!

it seem to rev quite freely after 6000rpm but up to that its very fluttery and is slow to fall to idle speed. i'm going to balance them this week but feel it may be a little more than just balance..... i'll get some pictures posted soon

These carbs can be a right bsatard, even set up properly they will still hold revs. Mine are balanced and is set up on a dyno, still doesn't rev all that cleanly.
