pull harder
the inlet rubbers harden with age ..
push the carbs down and spray wd40 around where they go into the stubs, then resort to brute strength

i know its probably not the recomended thing but i got a long screwdriver and levered the carbs off, put the driver on carb housing and pushed the screwdriver against the frame

Cheers guys,
Pulled them off, just seen your posts, The Lewis method works lol
All is good.
The metal pipe from the coolant pump is a fiddly little C*NT to undo, then i removed the dynamo/generator thingy and it was jammin.
just gotta figure out what else to remove before i take the lump out.
Peace

If a driveway is somewhere proper then yeah its pretty cool. Unless it rains, gets uber windy, or dark
Im looking for a garage to rent nearby, but no joy
Its interesting actually seeing everything that makes the bike hoon. I just hope i can put it back together

Its it safe to jet wash the radiator with the back facing me leaned up against the wall (like a hooker) to get the crud out?

Update on the rebuild.
Dan, Tony, Myself and our new Prospect have been getting bits on the bike to see if we can get the lump to tick over.
