Hope it's not as bad as it sounds anyway. There's some mint bikes out there that started off as sheds so anything is saveable
These http://www.ams-motorsport.co.uk/ are specialist ZXR400 breakers. Save you a lot of ringing round. Also well recommended on here. You might get discount too if you mention this place.

i think the motor is gonna be ok...was running when i picked her up.and after browsing some of the threads from you guys....what i first thought of a noisy clutch seems to be a common thing among these motors....top end sonds ok with nothing sounding like its about to self destruct,no rumblings from bottom end..so i think she should be ok...hoping to get some new stainless headers and a new can soon and with fresh oil and filter,coolant change etc i'll get her back up ,and running..........even if she still looks like shite,she'll sound sweet....Neosophist wrote:Dear god what happened to it![]()
