Help needed???? Quick
Hi all, my forks on my H2 project bike are leaking.
I have seen some second had forks but they look like L model forks.
I have heard about how you can modified H yokes to make the L forks fit?
Is it just as simple as reaming out the bottom yoke about 1mm???
Any help would great?
Thanks
Peter

L forks are significantly shorter than H..
even if they could be made to fit, I wouldn't.
(plus you'd need wheel, spacers, mudguard and discs to match)

What about if I strip them down, would the lower section from the L models fit the uppers of the H models?

So I'm basically just using the chrome legs as mine are pitted? They measure the same in dia.

Sadly I fear that re-chroming or second hand maybe you only choice. There is a big Italian company that make new fork tubes and the H model is NOT listed

To quote our friend
"mine are pitted"
New seals would be as much use as a chocolate fire guard
