Riding to Italy on the 400
A few years ago me and a few of my friends were going to ride to Italy to watch the MotoGP at misano. Sadly due to other things it was cancelled. However were now leaving this year on the 4th September and going via France, Switzerland, colle del Nivolet, lake como,Verona then down the coast to misano. All accommodation is booked, some of which with underground parking and where it's not well be chaining the bikes together with alarmed disc locks on at least my bike but probably all of them. I've been informed riding in Europe is very different with regards to giving way and things too.
My question is, any advice for such a long journey? We've broken it down into roughly 300 miles per day and the bike itself has had new pads, chain, sprockets, throttle cables, fork seals, tyres, Cush drives, bearings, spark plugs, oil and filter change, cam chain and tensioner blades, clearances etc... So I think that's good.
We've got a guy going on a goldwing trike with a 6' trailer so a lot of the luggage will be going in there, I've got the European driving stuff (hi viz jacket, spare bulbs, warning triangle etc) as well as a GoPro to document anything good colle del Nivolet . Any other advice would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like an ace trip......when we travel on the toll roads we purchased an automatic tag saves time grabbing the money
out or paying at the booths.....only issue you pay a yearly subscription for the privilege, and you just need to use the right
lanes so you dont get charged as a car.

Depending on how tall and heavy you are, painkillers and a padded seat cover/padded cycling shorts.
Longest journey I've done on mine was 520 miles in a day, what ends up hurting was wrists, lower back and butt, though I'm just under 6ft and just under 100kg so not particularly ideal

Luckily I'm a short butt
I've got some padded undergarments too (for cycling, honest!) which might help

Just to add to this, I've stuck a clear double bubble screen on and sadly had to put an e marked micron system on as I'm told Switzerland aren't keen on loud, technically illegal exhausts... Like the beet ti system with racefit can I took off

Certainly am. I'm trying to sort the photos as there's quite a few...
It was better than we expected and the bike performed faultlessly
There's a couple of videos on my YouTube account too, link to one of them below
