New bike

Post by mongo »

Thought i would treat myself to a brand new bike, have owned the R1 for 3 years. Fancied the 10r so went for it as there are some cracking deals out there just now. So a nice brand new 10r in black, picked it up today, its fantastic:

Got it booked in for its 500 mile service in a week, can't wait for it to be run-in properly :smt003 :smt003 :smt003 :smt003

The beers are on me.

its good aint it to see how small the bigger bikes are getting, i think the new gsxr 1000 k7 looks small almost the same size as the 600 an i think the only difference between the 600 an the 750 versions is the power and pricetag. obviously weight to but you dont think of that when the bike goes so fast lol :smt003
Remember speed kills, so does smoking, drinking, drugs, fast food and many more good things

1978 Suzuki GS400 - PROJECT RETRO RACER!
Kawasaki GPz500S - for sale soon

I hate you.

10r :smt007

Maybe i'll be able to afford one when i'm too old to ride it :smt012
I hope you cherish and love it like it deserves.

The trouble with having an open mind, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

well the R1 was sold last night, seen my old machine go down the road :smt010

it is the 0% over 3 years and free akra's. They are behind on the akras as so many people took the deal up, i will run it in first anyway.

250 miles up and its cracking. Its not small at all, its very similiar to the 99 R1, the pegs are just higher up and you are seated a little further away from the bars. Its a tiny bit narrower and alot sharper.

The zxr will be done in the same paint scheme, ebony black. Im thinking of getting the wheels gold on the 10r as well.

All my machines are cherished, my bikes are my main mode of transport, i just use my cars for weekend toys and i prefer it that way :smt003
