Got me court hearing now
Hello, yup im going to court on the 21st this month, for those that dont know my bike suffered 2500 pounds worth of damage, last december, the short version of what happened, i had a 2 second gap in front of me, bitch pulled into my 2 second and braked to a stop like instantly, which left me no time and not enough room to avoid or emergency stop, and i kinda gave the bitch a good screw up the butt, which i then bounced off lost a shoe in the air, and lay on the ground looking across at my fallen bike, didnt brake any bones but had concusion, lol funny thing is my wife went to hospital and when we left i took her to a curry house, yup i had some concussion alright it gave me the friggen munchies,
oh yeah im the only one with a witness statement and its in my favour, and the witness also states that the driver admitted it was her fault, <-- so guys how do you think this will stand up in court, my solicitor has sent me a letter saying she sent the drivers insurance a letter saying its at risk to them to proceed, so could this be in my favour i hope so, bitch cost me alot of money,
Rob

Sounds like its all in your favour Rob, the more that points to her being liable the less is on you. Good luck with it

Re: Got me court hearing now
Hey, yeah i hope i win, i had a bad experience 9 years ago, when i got knocked off, the guy who did it was a driving instructor and his passenger a copper, so i got royally screwed, so it left me feeling at the time bikers got it worse off when it come to claims, so i would like to win this one, as like i say it cost me enough money to fix the bike,

it certainly is classed as driving without due care an attention. A. she should have seen the traffic slowing in front of her and B you should give adequate signals when you move lanes so other drivers can prepare and position behind you.

here's hoping you can get all your costs back and payout for the distress this all caused.
Why all the court and not just do her insurance though?

chances are pupp is they are refusing to accept any liability and are unwilling to go 50/50, 70/30 etc...
Only way after that is for a court to decide.

Well all i can say is her lawyer must be a total tit, you cant just decide to swap lanes then brake like hell its daft aint it, im always lookin well ahead before i make a move car or bike. it sounds like she is well screwed over, no leg to stand on but i would have gone to a specialist if she wanted to take it to court an told about the sudden pain an the sleepless nights. mmm just think of the shiny new bike with that compo ay lol. ppl like that do my nut in they try an get out of the blame when they are completely in the wrong.
