well had another go on it today, started her up and she sat on tickover for about 5 mins before i wnet anywhere and the temp gauge did actually move off the bottom and to the first mark, couple of more minutes and my mate giving the bike a few revs and it went up a little higher, but not much.

Then when i went out on it, it went straight back down the the bottom. SO it must work just not sure how much lol.

Also, ive read some threads about here and some people have said mine on a 89 will be h1, but someone ( i think gubbs ) also said her bike ( my friends ) on a 90 is also a h1 but have also seen people say a 90 plate is a h2. She has a large front rad like the one for sale in Gubbs's for sale thread, but mine seem to be a small one and there is absolutly no where to put water in the rad like there is on hers.

ANy ideas? WOuld pics be more help?

oh great cheers lol now i have no bloody idea. so now i have no idea if mine is indeed a H1, or if my mates is a h1 or h2 lol. and now uv thrown the L model into the equasion.

there's a couple different things on hers to mine. Ie i have a small rad where you put the water in expansion bottle, but hers has a large rad where you can put water directly into it AND she has the expansion bottle, her swing arm is different as i have the braced one and she doesnt

Why cant these things be simple???

just re-read the thread and clearly i meant the opposite of what i said here. it warms my right leg more.
