Weird probs. Fuel - coils-head gasket blown? whats causing i

HI all. after cleaning out my carbs and getting rid off all the spaf in the jets i put the bike back together. still wouldnt run without the choke on. so i stripped it again and there was still water in the carbs and a main jet had dropped out. whoops. so, i cleaned the carbs completely with carb cleaner and dumped the fuel from the tank, jet washed it out and dried it out. fresh fuel , carbs back on and its still doing it. after much fannying about i stripped and rebuilt bits all day. it seems to be running on 2 or 3 cyls.. i took the ht leads and caps and plugs out, ( i renewed them last week btw ) and made sure they were screwed tight in. started her up and sounds lumpy but revs to 12000 np.then it cuts out. stripped it again to make sure everything was ok changed the wires round on the coils to see if that helped and lo and behold it goes. seems a lil lumpy at idle and boggy upto about 8000 rom so i caned it up the road, and back down and just as i got to the house it dies. it would only start on full choke and evn then it would go past 4000 rpm and any throttle killed it. could my coils be naffed. fuel probs again? its doin my head in. any help much appreciated.

its oblong lol. its fine tbh. well charged. the bike was reving really well upto 12000 on the rd then cut out as i pulled up at home.

when you jet washed the tank, i take it that was with water? did you let the tank dry out first? Sounds crazy but check the pipe that come out of the airbox that has a plug in the end. That fills up with water and could possibly be filled right up with the rain we have had lately so the airbox has some water in it, sucking it through to the carbs. Its a long shot but its only takes a second to pull the plug off and see, have a rag ready to catch the fluid if any
