The best polish/paint protector for my bike?????
Ive recently just bought myself a new suzuki gsx-r600, its red and white and the other day within my first 100 miles i got a great big dirty chip on the side of my new prestine fairing, so needess to say i was not amused! Does anyone no of any really good polish or paint protectors to stop this happening in the future????

Suzuki are notorious for their thin paint ..
Did you not know that?
Hehe.
Anyway, try a trip to a Hein Gericke and check out the Auto Glym products.
Super Resin Polish is good stuff, if a little pricey. It waterproofs as well as veneers.
There is a whole range of polymer based waxes and creams. Someone on here will work in the auto industry and will tell you what's good for the money.
Not that I bother much nowdays. I tend to just ride bikes into the ground.
Specially if they are commuter workhorses.

There are some really good waxes that you can get to put a layer of protection on the paint
Try having a read up on this site

Will tell you all you need to know, Its mainly for cars but I cant see why the info cant be transferred onto a bike

DetailingWorld has a wealth of knowledge I've tapped into for my cars in the past.
A decent polish, sealant & few layers of wax should help against this sort of thing.
Alternatively, thought about the protective clear film availible? Can't think of the name of it now
