Hello all,
my name is John and I too am new to the biking faternity being a scooter scum since Quadrophenia.
nearly in my 40th year on this planet
I have had a love affair with kwakas though since i can remember and decided to try the zxr 4 l
Absoutely awsome sounding machine got mine 2 weeks back for 900
trying to put right some wrongs and tidy her up before i buy a newish zxr 6 7 or 9?, if all goes well by the better weather next summer
thanks and hope i can meet up with some of you soon as most of my mates are still mods!!!

Looks beautiful mate, did that bike belong to someone here as i remember the swingarm not being the same colour as the frame.

alright lads thanks for the welcomes and i am so glad to be honoured to ride the green machine....
even though it took me near 20years to see the light
yeah the bike is awsome and i bought it from a lad in hucknall near nottingham called david andrew
it has been around the block but showing 12500 on the clock she seems all ok
just changing the rad as she had a battered one on
tried to use a h model one but the pipe outlet is bent in to the forks an the l is straight out?
so waiting to see if one comes up on e bay she is all naked in the garage (no pics)
dying to get out on her so exited it hurts.....

lol i remember the suspence when i wanted to go out on mine but couldnt cos i hadnt passed my test. in the end on the day of my test it was called off cos it was snowing lmao.
