Lol (my old pipes)

Post by zxr_oli »

Took of the old pipes and put them aside, went to tidy them away, and as i picked them up this happened :smt003
Think the paste was just holding it together.

Big ass hammer? :smt006

Double check your refittings. There should be no reason for it to change shape.

it looks like you have put the exhaust can support strap round each side of the hanger? is it not possible to have it on the outward facing part of the exhuast bracket, making it come over a few mm. You may also want to think about behind the exhuast bracket out a little further to stop the exhaust can eating into the swingarm....

Yeah they way you put the strap on might make a difference. It used to do it on my old ZXR, i just pulled the exhaust outwardstill the exhaust bracket was bent enough outwards that it help the can in place where it didnt rub the swinger.
