Nice zxr on ebay

Post by jigga1980 »

Another one I'm looking at on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... otohosting

Don't know if it's worth that much or not. It has nice paint job, flashy olihns forks etc but how much does that add to the value?

Two others i've been watching, one a 2003 12k nice condition no bids, like wise a 2000 with 7k had no bids.

Time of year? Suspect most people are hanging up their boots till the spring.

Also it's not a really a common sought after bike? Like say a cbr600gsxr600 etc.

I did think "high mileage" only just over 2k a year. But my zzr is the same year and only done 16k. Would say it can be more down to it being looked after.

'Superman' your in Wolves too. Do you ride around or not? seen one or two around the stafford road area.

hmmm, the pic looks better than off ebay, real nice bike.

Bit too flashy for me! Like to be quite discreet, well as much as you can be on a bike lol.

I can't see the compression adjusters on the forks, might just be the photo's, but they look like standard forks to me :smt017

Think your right Ballsout, forks have prob been changed at some point for standard L forks. Either that or they fitted an SP shock and seat unit :smt017

:smt017 , should have looked before, but just looked at the ytube vid, the forks on that are defintely different and do have the compression adjusters. I would be very wary about this bike :smt017

Edit: In fact, I'll go as far to say that I have a faint recall about that user name appearing on another forum, and I'll accept a slating if I'm wrong, but they were full of bullshit about the lack of Flatslide carbs on an SP racebike that was being advertised without the flatslides(to be within bemsee rules at that time), and guess what, the same person was asking for a ridiculous amount for a set of flatslides for sale on the same forum :smt009 :smt018 :smt003 :smt017
