Isle of Man TT
So what does everyone think of the TT and how many of you come over to make use of the lack of speed limit?

Me and a couple of mates are heading over for the TT next year. Can't wait. If your thinking of going though, you might want to think of booking up ASAP.

would love to go but i keep hearing similar stories about the weather,
getting a dry day is about as likely as stevie wonder getting his pilots license! which puts me off a little

I was there last year from Saturday to Saturday and, true, it lashed down the Saturday and Sunday, and as we were all camping we thought "We can't take this for 7 days". But anyone who was there will agree, on Monday morning the sun came out, and it was absolutely gorgeously hot from then until Saturday.
Hopefully it'll be the same again this year. It's an absolute blast!

Re: Isle of Man TT
Was there this year for the classic pre tt and the tt proper and it was great took the duke and had a good time (cheers to the boys at the douglas rugby club) if you head over early everything is still quiet but come tt week its chaos, but mad sunday they open the track to the public , so everyone and there dog is out,to much traffic for me,but go you'll have a good time drink some beers with bikers from around the world,oh and while no ones watching ride as quick as you dare, just watch the rock walls, trees, humps, cambers,etc.....

Yep, its cheaper to fly, but your paying for the bikes to be shipped aswel. Would obviously be alot cheaper as a foot passenger, but wheres the fun in that?

Re: Isle of Man TT
Stuff the TT
It's much cheaper to go in August for the Manx GP
there someting for everyone then classics two strokes big twins 600s 750s 125s
And the roads are less crowded so more fun for riding.
Plus you get to meet me and watch me racing............
free beer at my tent every night
