Post by BANJO »

I just had to show you all the state of this Honda cd175.
It is being left to rot in the back garden at the house of a customer

im the same i love doing up older bikes, just make sure that parts are easy to get and your away! best way to learn about how bikes work you'll learn toad loads (plus will be really pissed off if you ever pay somone to service your bike again)

i no what you mean about the servicing i can do most basic things but nothing to technical..
i always find watching someone who knows what they are doing really helps to.

something about doin up an old bike like that, that appeals. you look at it now an it looks like its the end of its life but give it afew months of work an it would look retro cool. like them mod schooters with all the mirrors they look good too. but i wouldnt wana give up the fast sports bike to fund any of the projects for sure.

im a sucker for projects, if your going to buy it to make money then give up now as you just wont! but if you really enjoy taking things apart, cleaning them up then putting it back togeather then do it! its a hole f*** load more fun than stamp collecting or golf
