Well im up for that fella, I keep seeing this bloke on a 750 in a red jacket, you seen him? His quite the rider, very fast. I followed him down that road to ullenall (sp) at the crossroads just by Henley in Arden. Now i keep seeing him rolling passed my house.

mate, i'm having similar problems to you. I've removed most of my noises with a camchain and tensioner replacement, but now I think I'm down to a cam chain guide to remove the knocking...and that better be it!
have you checked inside your tank? if there's rust in there you'll deffinately have to clean the carbs and re seal the tank.

I just remembered. gear change is rotten if you don't have the 'throw' of the gear selector right.Scott221 wrote:I also have a problem with gear changes, if i was to accelrate hard in first, then into 2nd, it sometimes wont engage, and when i try to click it in it make that horrible noise, something else that has happend on more than one occasion is its not engaged into 2nd, and just continued to make that clickclickclickclick noise as if the gear is half way stuck between first and second, when this happens the neautral light comes on, then i have to go back into first and wait for revs to come down abit before it will click in. This only ever happens in the higher rev range. Could this be gearbox oil?
take off the connector on the gear box side and re possition it to the optimal throw possition (where it moves the most for the least effort). that sorted it for me
