Hiya my names rhys as you may have guessed from the username . Anyway im 17 and am in college, had a bike since 16 a yamaha aerox and then a sr125 with uprated carb, transmission and 172cc malossi kit. Now im midway through 17 and iv caught the ninja bug going to get the zxr400 in the picture below sunday hopefully Its a 1999 wth 17,000 miles, it has 2 new tyres, chain and sprockets. It has 32mm carbs and a race exhaust. what you think and what type of price should i be looking at?






also is there any things i should look out for?

Personally all those stickers arent my taste, so that would lower the price a bit for me and they would be coming off soon as i got it home. That can looks like a standard exhaust thats been cut down and the generator cover has been painted grey, but otherwise it looks good, some service history would be ideal too. Price wise dont think id pay more than 1300-1500 quid for it.

yeah why do people stick bloody stickers all over a bike, make it looks shite! i think £1500 is a fair price for the year.welcome to zxrworld anyway mate.

i agree not fussed on all the stickers will be taking some of them off. Nope i dont even know what trackmania is Yeah i read through all that before think its a really good site

oh im also getting the 33bhp restrictor kit with it and the standard exhaust he says it also has stainless manifold

Is the stainless steel system fitted? Because the one in that photo looks very much like the standard system which is just plain steel.

he said it has stainless downpipes, dont know, im going to have a good look at it all first anyway
