My name is Adam and i live an a place called Leeds Town.I currently ride a Honda Hornet 600 but want to get a ZXR400 as a project/second bike looking to spend about a grand. Just thought id come along and see what its all about

goooooooooood choice but why not get the zxr400 and use the hornet as a second bike? :smt003 welcome mate!
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

Could do that i suppose,would be definatley cheaper to run.How much do you reckon i could pick up a dog of a zxr400 from and do the bugger up?

if you're looking for a project i would say £5-700
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

So £500 to £700 what year/milage do you reckon that would get me not realy botherd but would prefer an L model saw one on the bay of e's

looks good mate, probably needs a new loom, shock isn't original? looks like a H model shock.worth a bid tho and we'll haelp you get it going. he says he's changed the cdi, i bet the llom and cdi aren't matched.

Didnt know the loom and CDI had to be matched,am i right in saying the CDI's are colour coded to each country or area? so if its a uk cdi but not a uk loom how do i tell? regards Adam

looms and cdi's arent matched from what ive seen.
