Re: DAS test tomorrow
I remember my first ride. Standing there while the mechanic gives me advice on locking the bike up while it burbles away warming up.
Getting on and seeing the bright green neutral light, blipping the throttle pulling out of the dealers with my parents behind me in the car, thinking it all feels really weird! Especially round the corners. The route home takes me onto a long stretch of road, and through a tunnel, ok lets open it up a bit, acceleration feels really intense and im doing 70mph in no time at all! get to 80 and think i better not go any faster.
Got to my house way before my mum n dad! Went to do a U turn like i did on my CG125 and i run out of steering lock! toad toad, brake! Bike parked forward into the kerb rather than the U turn and backing it as i planned! bike was laid up for about 5 months till i was legal to ride it, bizzarely i dont remember that first ride after 5 months.

Re: DAS test tomorrow
Had just passed my test on the day, grinning from ear to ear and was sorting the insurance out till about 6.30. Insured at 6.39, gear'd up and ready to go at 6.40. Took it for a spin round the block at night, felt amazing. Then the next day i had off, so put about 150 miles on the clocks i think.
Look forward to reading your report rover

Re: DAS test tomorrow
im hoping this delay is cuz he passed and he's out enjoying his bike and not that he failed and he's trying to drown himself in a bowl of cornflakes!
