New ZXR 400 owner, as of tonight!

Hello ladies and gentlemen.

I've been looking forward to getting my dannies on a nice 400 for a fair old while, and I'm now starting to put money aside to get hold of one.
It looks like it'll be a few months yet before I've about the sum I'd put aside to get a decent ZXR, but I figured I'd sign up to a couple of forums etc etc, get more in the know, get some advice on buying, gauge pricing better and keep my eyes open in the classifieds!
I'm 19, living near Swindon in Wiltshire, working full time as a barman at the Red Lion in Avebury (for my sins) and currently in possession of two flame red Rovers, a 1992 214 SLi 16v and a 1998 820 Vitesse (fastback).
I've an A2 class test booked in early May, and hopefully, after passing said test, I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for a ZXR 400.
I'm thinking post '95, and either Kwakka green or Cherry Black; and definately in good condition, though I'm willing to do some repairs/replacement/respraying of any fairings that are damaged, or imperfect in any way, over the coming winter.
Anyway, that's a short how-do for now, hopefully I'll speak to some of you soon!

Possibly, but when is it? If I can do, I'll book it off, and then, it'll just be dependant on how soon I can get the cash together to get her serviced - I'm gonna take it to Elliot's and have a full job done, if they deem it necessary when it's there. I think I'll also just have the restriction done by them, as they'll have the carbs off anyway, so I can just have them whack a set of washers in while they service her.
(N.B. Could you remove my post asking for Restrictor Washers in the 'Parts Wanted' section, please Baz?)
*Edit* I just discovered you can delete your own messages all the way back in your own posts, so I've deleted it myself. I suspect this doesn't work if someone else has posted in the thread?
