Opinions - leathers!

Opinions -

Plus plain black reinforced jeans, and a matte/gloss black helmet of some variety or other. (*Edit* And black boots et gloves, of course!)

I'd like to go understated with the leathers, and not too much green, so theoretically, the shoulder section would be the only green part of the leathers.
How do we all reckon that will look?
Vard.

Im sure it will look fine together, how will it look on the bike?

My advice would be to buy something that that suits all bikes, that way you wont look silly with kwak leathers if one day you decide to get a bluw and white suzuki.

I've got blue and white on a green bike!

It's never really bothered me. The way I see it, the more mismatched your kit is to your bike, the more chance old Blindeo Tithead in his Mondeo is more likely to notice you. :smt001

Good point jamz. Thats why police cars have the battenburg colour scheme as they are quite contrasting. Out of interest i met the guy who developed that scheme when i was at the home offices scientific branch last year.

i think you should have a black jacket with pink studs that spell out PINK LADY on the back. that would look the nuts with the kwak green :smt005

I've no particular desire for a Gixxer, and I'm debating getting a plain black jacket too, go stealth style and be a ninja on a ninja sort of thing. So a full black suit would suit most bikes, I'd reckon, anyway.

I'd go for plain leathers - you match any bike then.

Mine aren't exactly plain, but they are neutral. However in my usual slightly backwards way I am toying with spraying the track plastics so they match my leathers. :smt002

mine arent plain either... unfortunately.... but an arlen ness 2 piece for £249 was too good to turn down. Mine are black/silver/white.... I've got a black lid and blue boots. And the boots are getting changed for black ones when i can be bothered :P

i tried riding around in blue leathers for a couple of weeks - but felt silly so i sold them

Its more a keeping warm thing that looking good. That day was 4c odd and very windy so I very light summer leathers I needed something over the top.

You do get pulled over more by the police if your wearing a huddy over the top tho. Riding AND looking like you stole it doesn't go well!
