Re: SP seat on ebay
with mandies one, what needs to be done to it to get it on the bike? Do they fit perfect without any modification to the subframe? Also much drilling required? Also would the seat area need cutting out? Oh and no answers saying it needs painting because that would be childish wouldnt it...
Oh also my brother bought a ZXR400 H yesterday because he liked mine so much. ill get him to sign up to the forum and post some pics of his bike, its nice: really good condition for the age etc, nothing special though, unlike mine which i just found out has Ohlins front springs and a rear shock which was a nice surprise when i had a look, had seen the ohlins stickers on the roks before but wasnt sure if they had actually been done. But contacted mctechnics who had put 2 stickers on the frame and they'd done all the work.

Re: SP seat on ebay
i would imagine you would have to cut all holes for fitting and also the hole to fit the seat pad and also the rear light.

ah i suppose iv paid a fair chunk for mine but i thought i might have over paid (i dont think that now thoe). got it for a hundred then obviously sanded it filled it to look good took hours to get the stickers off then paid eighty for the spray so whatever i sell it at will be a loss

Re: SP seat on ebay
thing is, a new aftermarket seat unit is about 100 quid, and they are unpainted. So compared to an SP seat unit which is a genuine part, fits properly and doesnt need cutting i dont think you spend much more at all.
