I'd almost convinced myself to buy a pair of those, but then I had another quick look at the Sidi Vertigo Corsa boots, and the Sidi's are soooo much better made!

Those are at least £30 cheaper than the £230 Sidi's, though.

I think the only other competition are the Puma ones which look a bit poncey...

I should have said that the only reason I've ruled out all other boots apart from those three is because they all have the ankle torsion bar thingy, which saved me from a broken ankle before when I was wearing my old Sidi Vertebra Race boots and got my foot caught in the wheel...

Ya have to have rounded, plastic tipped they prefare, pegs. I think my zxr would be on its fairing/genny cover before the pegs tho
I think the contact metal thing, is more about the distraction, but its worse when your behind someone and the smoke is coming off there leathers!
Just a thought, has anyone ever been on a trackday and had there bike turned away for anything other than to much noise?

I have a mate who works a brands hatch; he says that metal knee sliders are banned, but metal toe sliders are allowed :smt017

Quite a few circuits used to ban sparky sliders - dunno if they still do...

I know a few poeple who have been turned away for it, most of the time you can get way with covering the slider with electric tape.

I decked the pegs on my 400 loads of times? before i learnt about moving your body off the bike i decked the peges and couldnt work out why i couldnt get knee down.
