Re: zx7/9
I had a good look at that yesterday.
Sounds like the induction could take a fair bit of work to sort out...
I also can't help thinking that it weighs a tonne with that ss swingarm.
I think I like it, though!

Re: zx7/9
got to be somthing else up there, anyone who could fit that stuff to the ZXR frame would know enouth to get it running right surely. Not to mention that the ZXR750 had ram air as well and that ram air dosnt really start doing anything till over 70mph so wouldnt effect the RPM in that way.

Re: zx7/9
custom airbox, poss no filter .. carbs expecting pressurised float bowls .. prob's does just need a good dyno session, and a bit of filter hacking.. my zx6r lump is a bitch to get to rev cleanly without the airbox it was born with.

Re: zx7/9
I was quite amazed at the air routing on the ZX9r under the tank! It's some serious stuff!
I can only assume that's the main reason it hasn't got an oil cooler of any kind, either.
So yes, using that lump without the proper air intakes I can see would cause some major problems!
