New Bike.

Post by Brett »

Yesterday I picked up a gsxr400 for £800. I know I said I needed something bigger, but this is one sweet looking bike(will try and post pics). It's a 91 model and goes like stink. The bad side is compared to a zxr, it is crap round the twisties, although the tyres on it don't help. Anyway, until I can afford a half decent zxr, I'm stuck with it.

I would have thought if it was ever restricted, if it's had more than a couple of owners, someone will have de-restricted it on a bike that old.

800 quid could have got you a decent ZXR, i only paid £30 more for mine .. oh.. hang on it needed a topend rebuild, shock and fork seals .. LOL

head over to 400greybike for info on gixxer 400's there's quite a few owners on there ..

mate of mine tried to race one a couple of years ago, had no end of problems with setup/reliability/power .. ho hum ... gotta be better than a poxy NC30 though :smt019 :smt005
