petrol leak

just stared the zxr after 3 weeks of sitting there and there is a petrol leak coming from the fuel pump area it was dripping every where. not sure if a rubber hose could have split ? anyone had this before

could well be a perished hose mate, mine had gone by the fuel tap so just nipped the end off.

I was looking on ebay yesterday, you can buy a meter of the stuff for about Â£2. You can ever buy it in kwaka green

just striped the fuel lines down checked them all and they are fine no splits and cleaned up nicely with some wd40 so i put it all back together minus the rubber harness that hold the pump in place started the bike up and its pi##ing out of the pump right on the join down the middle so the seal in the pump has gone any one ever had a fuel pump fail like this before
