ZXR400 Front brake discs: compatibility??

ZXR400 Front brake discs: compatibility?? can anyone advise if they have any info re the ZXR400 Front brake discs: compatibility?? I need to know if an L9 model would fit an L5 model? First time post so would appreciate any help offered by other members, many thanks in advance. If this is not right part of forum to ask please point me in the right direction. The front discs on this L5 look fine but there is a loud noise from them like they are warped ......not sure..as not the bearings, so this not problem. Someone sold me discs said they would fit but not so sure as different models and once says 3.5 mm and other says 4.5 and are not same size either. Are they both off a zxr 400 just different models?

just measured these two sets of discs .......should've done that earlier......... one set measures at 310mm and one set measure 320mm. Are these compatible with an L5 model? any assistance or advice appreciated, and should have read ZXR 400 not zzr 400 typo, doh.......

ok,

H model zxr400's have 300mm discs
L model zxr400's have 310mm discs

the offset and bolt pattern may be the same, but i think you'll run into clearance issues between the caliper and disc if trying to fit 320mm discs.

given the 320mm diameter and 4.5mm min thickness stamp, i'd guess they are off a zzr1100 or similar.

certainly not zxr400.

Many many thanks for that info, was not sure and was going to try tomorrow and in reality answer my own question for self and others. Discs were bought off ebay about a month ago in my absence and only just brought wheel up to house tonight to take off old discs and see if new ones fitted when I noticed difference of 10 mm in size. So once again Zimm many thanks for info. Will check out zzr 1100 see if they are similar or not. Anyone got good cheap set of front discs for an L5 for sale? Any one want zzr 1100 front discs lol?
