top tip 2

Post by RedexRobB »

Those of you that have ever taken a ZXR apart will notice that theres a long pipe attached to the side of the air box that runs down the side and out the bottom. This is a sealed pipe that drains any water from condensation, out of the airbox. I took the plug off the end of mine yesterday and i reckon the entire pipe was full of water going by how much came out.

So, go unplug those pipes!

Now to sort my sticking choke......

Lol and another thing I've always meant to do but never bothered! :smt003

Meh, if I do it at the moment the ice patch around my bike would do more harm than good anyway!
Who needs tyres when you've got knees!!

just take the plug out of the end and let it drain constantly.

out that little pipe doubt it will suck in that much, on the 750 there is a small clear bottle near the bottom of the pipe with a smaller pipe attached which is plugged, it allows you to see when the pipe is filling up, supposed you could put a small bit of clear pipe somewhere to do the same job?
