Simmo

cos my last name is Simpson, so it was abreveiated at school to Simmo
some people spell it Simo, like me half brother, but me and my proper brother have always spelt it Simmo.

Mine used to be just RobB, Just first three letters of my first name (Robert) and first letter of my second name B.

Then baz came up with the great idea of RedexRobB because im always raving about Redex fuel system cleaner and how great it is. Was only gonna stick with it for a few weeks for the joke but actually quite like it and ive never ever seen it on another forum, unlike RobB which ive seen a few times and people have said to me 'are you the RobB from so n so forum?'. So its also individual. Occasionlly it gets shortened to redex.

And rumour has it he's going for sponsorship! :pmsl

Thinking about it, does anyone know what happened to 'Dave B&Q' or whatever his name was? The British Touring Car driver who changed his name a few years ago? :smt017

Just a little sidenote, after looking on Wikipedia his name was JOHN B&Q:
Racing career
He became a racing driver in 1999 after being backed by Blackburn Rovers and their sponsors, which helped him gain enough money to build a 220bhp Ford Fiesta and entered the Super Road Saloons Championship.[1] He won the title in his first season and moved into the Ford Fiesta Zetec Championship the year after and secured a sponsorship deal with BBC programme Top Gear, which saw him change his name to John Top-Gear through deed poll.[1] He entered the British Touring Car Championship in 2001 and after asking over 800 companies for financial support he persuaded B&Q, the DIY megastore, to join him before the start of the season and also changed his name to John B&Q to help him gain funding.[1][3] He stood as an independent candidate for Tatton in the 2001 general election,[4] which saw him win 0.8% of the electorate with 322 votes.[5] He injured his third, fourth and fifth vertical vertebrae in a race at Oulton Park in Cheshire,[2] which almost forced him to retire.[1] Batchelor secured a £1 million deal for his racing team to be sponsored by battery company VARTA in 2003.[6]

Ahh mine, Marcie. . .
My cuz rekkons I looked like a rat when i was a bairn, one day he called me Marcie, i was like what zi fook you just call me, he then explained:
Ere i rekkon you looked like a rat when you were a tinker, and Marsupials are rodents... Marsupials are the only animal that have sacks or pouches. So i abbriviated it and your now Marcie.

Thats where it originated, and even my mates mothers still call me Marcie, Picture it visit mates mother, old woman stands up goes tim you wana brew? and then : Marcie you want a cuppa??

The ammount of times i get asked whats the crack with marcie...its beyond belief.
Still though thinking of getting marcie sprayed to my fairings!

Oh and a mate told me Marcie originated from the god of war or something :smt017

Marcie
Some body once told me... Theres only two things in life you'll ever need, Gaffa tape and WD40.
If it moves and it should'nt use Gaffa tape, if it doesnt move and it should use WD40!
