Do it myself or not?
Just wanted to get a few opinions if doing this big service is sensible to be done be someone with 'very' limited experience with bike mechanics?
Just got a quote from the local mobile mechanic, he wants 150 labour and about 100 parts? You think thats resonable?
Also one of my blasted fork seals has gone and he quoted 86 Labour. This is proper butt job i believe, especially as i dont have a front stand lol!
Cheers,
Chris

Might be interesting,
If you think its a good price will take him up on it, just sucks because it is so much! :smt013

My god, had the fork seals done yesterday! I would have really stuggled on my own, the mechanic needed an extra pair of hands and hes a pro! lol
Well I know how to do it now, when they need replacing again, I still won't be doing it!
It must be one of the most awful jobs to do,
Much better ride now the suspension is adjusted for me, Apparently the forks were set like i was a sumo wrestler, I'm quite the opposite so its a much smoother ride now.

I had mine done last september, was gonna do it myself but took them to local mechanic and he also said it was worth paying him for the hassle as they were a right pain in the butt.
