Hayate

5th Place! Good to see Kawasaki (and Melandri) climbing back.

I just got back from the Jerez GP. Was such a good weekend; pounding heat, Bradley's domination, 250 race was one of the best I've seen (positions changing several times a lap), and Rossi on form.
Shame we don't get weather like that. Their roads are so smooth and twisty, and I didn't see a speed camera anywhere. Mind you, the Spanish seem to ride in just a helmet, not even gloves, so maybe that's why none of them speed.

They love to bounce it off the rev limiter whilst parked up though!? Never understood why people do that...

Thats a Fifth (Jerez) and sixth (Motegi). That equals his best Ducati and Kawasaki's top results from last year. I am sure Marco has a more to get out of it.
Love to see Macro/Kawasaki on the podium this year. Great to see an under dog do well - pity its not green !

I was at Valencia last year - the Spanish Bikers are a funny bread. Seen loads of bikes trailered to Valencia and ridden to the track (comapred to the British and Irish who rode down !). Most wore full gear (mostly Dainese). Very few bikes older than 8 years old most were only 2/3 - except for some tasty ZXR 750's and a mint RG500. Yeah Revving the Tits outta the bikes in the park whats that about !?

Anyone going to try a Hayate replica !?!?

Ryan Farquhar's hat-trick at the Cookstown 100 too. Watching him throw that ZX10R around those lanes was insane! :smt004

Well done to Ryan aswell, that guy is truely fucking tapped!!
Fairly decent results for the Kwaks in WSB aswell, both bikes in the points in both races.
Keep it up fellas.

Even better because you can't blame that on all the other crap going on - he was quick in the wet and dry, so even if Rossi hadn't cocked up I still think he'd have been in the same position!
