Kawasaki zxr400.....L Reg
Tax'd and Mot'd.... new tyres.....
Bike a good little runner probably could do with the carbs balancing but just haven't got round to it...

Has scuffs on bodywork you would expect on a bike this age also has a slight crack in the nose fairing but has been repaired but just not repainted..

just had quite alot spent on it... new tyres... brake disks.. pads... themostate
Its local to me so ideal really, but want to know how much i should offer.

PS, anything i need to look out for?

Think it might've just been dropped but not sure?

Said T&T, not sure how much yet though as i'm still waiting for a reply. Same for Service history.

Ad says £1000 but will take sensible offers. Pm'd and said they wouldn't take any less than £800 (I offered £700, if upon inspection i like it.). Too expensive for it you reckon?

Dont really have much to spend so the cheaper the better, but i dont wanna buy a toad (lol @ the word change :smt003 ) heap that'll end up costing me more on parts..

have a look at the buyers guide on the main website http://www.zxrworld.co.uk and there is also a downloadable guide to give you an insight into the zxr400.a few pointers to check.check mileage and head gasket, they are prone around 20k miles. apart from that starting problems, how it starts from cold and hot.£700 is a fair offer methinks.

I was trying to show how much the bike you are looking at is worth (My opinion, low £600's without seeing it or hearing it running)

If you have £700 - £800 to spend, you should be able to drop on a bargain on eBay or the trader I would have thought. (Wrong time of year to be buying though, especially something as sought after as a 400 with them being popular with newbies and women / short legged riders!)

Yeah you're right tbh. Just missed out on this one(http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0437331547) on ebay which in my opinion looked much better buy.

Maybe i should just get a 600 instead? First problem is i want something small, light, and flickable! Second problem is I don't have much money to spend (£800 max). :smt012 vsad

PS . Sorry for calling you webby! :smt003

if you buy a 600 for £800 you're gonna get a dog, with a 400 thats about an average price so keep looking.
