Has anyone tried this? Just wondering if it helped anyone with the hot starting problem...

Pretty sure the reason for my hot starting prob is because of poor voltage to the coils...the wires get very hot and pliable....too much resistance me thinks!

I would not use a relay due to vibration issues with the contacts. Just upgrade your wire diameter slightly and minimize connections. Remember to include a fuse !!!.
