H1&H2 FORKS MIXING PARTS

hi all i have a H2 that has got pitted&damaged chrome,ive been offerd a new pr of H1 forks,before i take then,i would like to know if the lower parts of them ie the chrome part will fit my H2 upper part of the fork,as i dont want H1's on it,but if i can use the chrome sections that would be good.if not i will have to keep looking for new H2's

The H1 & H2 stanchion lowers have different part numbers and both are NLA

However , top , lower , oil seal and dust cap are the same so I can't see why they wouldn't fit.

No idea if there any physical differences between the lowers though !

If the pitting isn't too bad send them off to be hard chromed and renovate the set you have - pretty much what I am going to have done to my J2 set
