Could someone please help me with a problem that I have with a frame VIN number.
I own two complete ZXR400s and two spare frames- all “L†models. Three of the frames use the standard number 4, but one has a different style of 4. I can’t find it in the Windows Character Map- so all I can do is describe it as a normal 4, but with the centre vertical line not intersecting at the top. The frame has been soda blasted to remove the paint and I’m 100% certain it has not been tampered with! The sand casting marks are still there- no evidence of any metal being removed.
Could someone please confirm if the font used can vary from year to year?
Thanks,
Ian

Re: Frame VIN number.
HI Ian,
Think a photo might help of the offending digit as still can't picture what you on about - blank out numbers around it.
The other thing do you have the V5's for the frames and do all the numbers tally with the paperwork ?
MM!

Nothing worse than having an H and not being able to scratch it !
