Re: More bike goodies on teh way!
Other than the ding in the can it looks spot on.
I did spot it on the bay but the wife said no as I'd just forked out for a bike, then a new motor and then some plastics.
Those headers alone are worth twice what you've paid for the lot.
A bargain.

Re: More bike goodies on teh way!
They were part of a job lot that was listed about 7pm.
I spotted the pipes+zorst in a box and phoned the dude.
He listed them separately, called me back and i bought it straight away

argh I dont like the micron system! neither does Zimm iirc.
However.. the dynojet Kit is designed to be used with that setup so get yourself a cheap dynojet Kit and your away
Or if you want get a Nassert system

Yep yep!
The 'dynojet kit' supposidly works well with this setup (and nothing else
) so see how you get on before you start chopping it to bits

'Ang on a sec. I was thinking of getting a Dynojet kit for mine this coming winter. So are we saying the compatibility to the Micron system applies to ALL Dynojet kits, or just the stage-whateveritis which is for Race cans? The Stage 1 kit is for OEM exhausts, so I'm assuming this does work with the OEM (or similar) system, as I don't intend binning that any time soon?

Re: More bike goodies on teh way!
Yep, need Zimm to clairfy this one, I remember him mentioning it to me, I think it's the ZXR400 dynojet 'race' kit that was designed to work best with the micron system, since the BEET and other BEET clones are different to the micron kit the dynojet kit doesn't work as well with them.Tirpitz wrote:'Ang on a sec. I wouldn't really recommend any of their kits, the standard ZX stuff fuels well enough that a competent dyno tuner should be able to get it setup and running really well.. a better spend of money.
