hi just bought a zxr400l with a couple of problems which with the help of google led me here.must say what a great site so much info

Unfortunately these bikes seem to be used and abused by past owners - can't have Green blood in their veins
I'll not say I have never had any problems with my Kwaks but what I will say they were down to being "cheap " alternatives !
For the past 18yrs none have given me problems , none have been difficult to maintain and none have been expensive to keep on the road
Once you get it sorted out you'll have a right little " pocket rocket " on your hands & in the twisties you just might hang up your ZX10 keys - they are that much fun

thanks for the welcome just reached the half century but dont feel
im hoping it just fork seals carb inlet rubbers and a carb tune up
