the best reason about having a renault grand espace is you can fit two bikes in it - if you get the (May?) issue of performance bikes when they were at the Nurburgring with teh 600s I think, there's a pic of my other halfs espace with our bikes in :P

superman wrote:hmm i could stick a turbo on it an were in business. i think i would eat astra VXR's then lol. but cant be bothered cos i got the bike for eatin now lol.

TBH im thinkin of gettin rid of my car to purchase a sweeter bike,

Really sorry to break this to you but putting a turbo on a GTi 180 won't work unless you are very rich. I used to work for Peugeot and when they were developing the EW10 engine to go in the 180 they kept having problems with the crank not being able to withstand the power, in the end they managed to get it to tolerate it, just. This unfortunately means that even just putting a high flow exhaust and air filter on could mean that you are eating shards of crank, while the Alfa naffs off :smt009

Sorry about putting a downer on it, but on the plus side 180's do come in a nice shade of blue :smt003

Well mycallseven i know it would cost afew thousand to do but the the engine handles the power perfect as it was co developed with Lotus i recon for a couple of k it could be done an the engine would be extreme if they can do it with the vauxhall or ford it can be done on any car, i just think the insurance would be pathetic as its already group 17 now stick a turbo on an i would much rather have a BMW M3. but im done with sports cars after this one for a while i think they are to expensive to run in this country i think with tax an petrol its pants.
