my key was a bit like that at first, I sprayed some stuff I've got thats like WD40 but its got teflon in it and it worked fine with a bit of wiggling.. look at the key though it should be perfectly symetrical down the centre, if its not then thats your problem.
cheers
dan
The bike only goes as fast as you want it to...
...i know, it's great
WD40 is only gonna help if the problem is the lock barrel sticking.
If it's anything like my zxr's then the problem is key wear and their not quite pushing the lock pins into the right position. my 750 i can actually remove the key once i've turned it on
The trouble with having an open mind, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

A problem often caused because people don't keep the barrel well-lubed by squirting slippy stuff down it occasionally!

I make it routine like Rene, and spray a squirt of WD40 into the keyhole every time I wash the bike.

A problem that isnt at all going to be solved by a touch of wd40 every now and then unless it's prior to putting the key in everytime over the course of the 17 years that the ignition has been on the bike.

WD40 is the wrong thing to use, teflon with some graphite in it is the proper solution to use, if oyu cant get hold of this, then some thicker grade oil used liberally in the barrell overy so often.
