alternator and rectifier ame to 120-130 ish i think, but then 100 quid and some to put em in just doesnt seem right :(

Rectifiers new are circa £70, and god knows how much an alternator would be!!

Plus labour @ circa £30+VAT per hour?

Sounds steep, but when you break it down looks reasonable?

if u want my advice, just pay it

they are members of the outlaws, so unless u want them to shove the old rectifier up your japs eye, just go with the flow

You'r getting taken for a mug mate. 230 quid for a rectifier change. Give me 100 and i'll do it for you in 10 minutes.

ask em for the old parts back and tell em you aint paying til you get them, they are still your property so have no rights to dispose of them then you can get someone off here to test them both.
