L1 cams and L3 Cams are different! Also the pistons are different, in my L1 I had 657s (same as UK L3) whereas as aforementioned my Jap Import L3 has 707s. I want to use my L1 cams and 657s in my L3 motor (cylinder head, cylinders and bottom end etc) but a bit worried that they're not interchangable? Can anyone confirm that they are? Also can cams wear? The L1 cams look a bit tierd? Not sure if this is my eyes telling me wrong un's though.
I'll also be using my UK L1 carbs as they're bigger than the Japanese L3 ones, not sure how much as I couldn't find my bastarding verniers.
Here's an example of the difference, also they're clearly shaped differently upon closer inspection but its difficult to pick up on camera (can't remember which is UK and Jap)
