I seriously doubt you'll get much of a hp increase. If you pull it off and youve got the correct map, you could realeas abit more tourqe in the midrange, the bike will just seem a whole lot smoother. Do you need to sort out an auto choke?

you dont need a choke with FI mine has a "fast idel" leaver, basicly you pull its and the idel goes up by 700 RPM

thats not half as much fun... and involves telling the insurance people lots about having a new engine in the bike.. they didnt seem to care when I told them it's been converted to fuel injection
The bike only goes as fast as you want it to...

Your getting me far to interested in this lol. Just been looking on the megasquirt site (http://www.bgsoflex.com/megasquirt.html). That component seen there, am i right in understanding that has to be fitted somewhere on the bike?

would still work even with lots of presure in theory, youd just have REALLY bad mpg though...
unless you had direct FI - straight into the cylinder after the ports had closed. Then you could blow as much fresh air through as you liked.
In the garage:
Kawasaki ZXR400 L3 - shiny
Suzuki DR800 - bouncy
1978 Suzuki GS400 - PROJECT RETRO RACER!
Kawasaki GPz500S - for sale soon
Honda CG125 BR-J - in bits
